Painting has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I am a self taught Canadian artist born and grown up in Casablanca, the famous seaside city of Morocco. There, I used to play soccer and swim from March to October every year.
I work mainly with acrylic on canvas, using thin brushed layers of paint, building it up slowly to create glazes of luminosity and colourful contrasts which reveal the transition between the concepts built up in my mind and the visual result that gives me a feeling of peace.
I travelled a lot and discovered the common humanity in peoples from Hawaii to Paris and from Berlin to Hong-Kong. I believe in unconditional love for humans of all kinds, all colours, and all beliefs.
I am also a university professor. I teach mathematics to future engineers and materials knowledge to architects and interior designers. I hold a Ph.D. and an international patent for an acoustical invention. I did some work for Boeing and NASA.
