In my work I try to convey a sense of life in Britain today, exploring themes like the male identity, shifting values and modern culture in post industrial towns and cities.
Liverpool's rich and varied architectural heritage provides inspiration for my cityscapes. I find the contrasts of past and present of the city interesting, especially in the context of the Capital of Culture status.
