The Secretary General
Is the administrative commissioner of PAX and has responsibility of organising the activities of the Organisation, supervising all work, following up the affairs of the Organisation and co-ordinating between members of the Board of Directors.
Signs cheques together with any authorised Director and approves expenditure in general.
Employs and issues necessary instructions for carrying out the activities of the Organisation and with the Board’s approval enters into contractual agreements on its behalf.
Calls for Board meetings and ensures that proper minutes are kept and maintained
Attends meetings of the Committee of Patrons to co-ordinate and ensure that proper communication between members of the Board of Directors and the Patrons.
Maintains correspondence, the membership register and the records of the Organisation.
The Financial Officer
Is responsible for providing economic and technical services to the members, co-ordinating the activities in that field and preparing fundraising programmes for the Organisation.
Signs cheques together with any authorised Director and approves expenditure in general.
Supervises the work of the Treasurer to ensure optimum management of the funds and ensures the implementation of proper accounting systems within the Organisation.
Monitors the financial and monetary affairs of the Organisation to ensure that its assets are utilised in accordance with the decisions of the Board of Directors.
The Executive Officer
Is responsible for liaison and contact with national and international, artistic, cultural, political and economic bodies in accordance with the objectives of the Organisation.
Promotes the Organisation and its services to the members and to such persons and institutions whose affiliation and membership is beneficial to the Organisation and consistent with its approved aims and plans
Powers
The Organisation shall enjoy all powers and rights which the law confers on juridical personalities, including the right of ownership, making donations, opening bank accounts, setting up and employing people, Creating chapters around the world and engage artists and intellectuals globally to achieve its objectives
PAX Trust
Planet Art eXchange (PAX) is the beneficiary of ‘PAX Trust’, The purpose of the Trust is to guarantee a continuous income for the Organisation in addition to the membership fees.
The subscribers in the Trust are individuals, corporate benefactors and philanthropists who deposit in the Trust a minimum of 20,000 pounds.
The income generated thereof is used for the benefit of the Organisation, with principle remaining on trust
