    • PAX COLLABORATIVE CIRCLE FORMED

      Following the success of the conference 'The City's unsolved issues', the participants have agreed to form a Pax Collaborative Circle, a think tank that will be working during the next 12 months towards the establishment of the the first Pax Republic democratic institution - pax republic city council, a representative body, members of which will be elected democratically by Liverpool grass root communities and residents and aim to play the role of a shadow city council that engages, throug participatory democracy thein thinking innovatively and providing the local government with grassroot recommendations on the various issues that have impact on local community wellbeing.

      PAX REPUBLIC CONVENTION

      Pax Republic Convention'2009 has been a successful event attended by over 700 people representing various Liverpudlian communities: visual and performing artists, poets and writers, academics and researchers, students and volunteers, socially responsible businesses and policy makers, NFPOs and community leaders as well as members of public and vulnerable groups.

      Pax Republic

      PAX REPUBLIC is a transnational community building project that uses culture, technology, business and governance to integrate communities of 5 cities from around the world: Liverpool, London, Cape Town, Istanbul and Gudalajara. Its objectives is to promote collaborative creation, address divisive issues, eradicate social exclusion, celebrate diversity and empower the most vulnerable.
