The worlds religions have at their core peace and tolerance. PAX’10 will try to explore why some followers don't always apply those tenets.

Theme – Religious Divide
- Istanbul was the center of the Ottoman Empire that provided a model of religious tolerance for many centuries.
- There’s a strong opposition between Islamists and secularists.
-There’s a resistance towards accepting a dominantly Muslim country in the ‘European Union, perceived by many Muslims as a Christian Club.
