Who we are

Planet Art eXchange Ltd (PAX) is a non-profit making organisation established as a company limited by guarantee, in accordance with English Companies Act. It’s incorporated in England on 26th Sep. 2008 under the Registration number 6713076.
The company executive Dr Lotfi Kaabi has worked closely with Liverpool based intellectuals and community leaders to conceptualise and implement Planet Art eXchange in 2008. It has started with a multicultural artists-in residency programme organised thanks to the help of Arts Council England before evolving in to an international and pluri-annual project that embraces various strands.
We have local teams in each of the project legs where we hope to serve as a catalyst to promote social coherence and empower the most vulnerable through art, culture and science.

What we do

1. Use art, culture and science as unifying forces and medium of persuasion and change
2. Bridge the cultural, racial, religious and socio-economic divides
3. Establish partnerships with various components of the local communities with the objective of addressing the needs of local communities.
4 Identify the best practices in art, culture, business and science that benefit communities and replicate them with local communities in other global regions.
5. Induce 'community-oriented' aspects in collaborative projects created at the local level
6. Empower the talented in the most vulnerable communities and to val ue their skills
7. Encourage art and cultural exchange through the mobility of collaborative creation.
8. Promote the integration of the least represented ethnic arts and culture in the global art scene.

How we do it

¡

¡

1 In each location we operate in, we identify the best practices in art, culture, business and science that address social divisive issues and benefit the communities
2. Concurrently, new collaborative projects between selected partners are initiated following a specific development process that we have explained concept page
3. The outputs of the collaboration effort as well as the identified best practices are showcased in an annual festival dubbed ''Codevotion' (for community devotion) that aims to create a strong sens e of unity and cohesion among various communities acting as one in addressing their divides.
4. We apply 'the mobility of imagination' concept to circulate the best practices and the newly created collaborative works among the other communities of our global network.
