MetaTheatr e is a Collaborative theatre project in which artistic colleagues from two or more target cities work jointly towards developing a successful production that aspires to PAX vision. This is achieved by the merging of ideas and pooling of resources

It is rooted in the ideas and experience of the participants, that are then shaped and polished by a writer. Yet all exponents offer their own vital input into the developmental process. The designer may take the director to new levels of understanding of the script. The writer's voice and its uniqueness may lead the designer down unchartered paths of discovery in their own work.

MetaTheatre programme aims to be enlightening, enabling and encouraging for all those involved.

MetaTheatre will also explore:

1. Mobility of creations - where theatre companies exchange their creations with each others for a faster and more economic way of sharing performances with their respective publics

2.Social Theater: Exploration of Theatre in Development (TiD) methodologies. We have partnered with Banglanatak to implement their techniques in our target cities with the objective to build capacity at grass root level through training of peer groups in behaviour change communication and development of leadership, self management and communication skills.
