Meet the artists

In the last 10 years or so collaborative art practices have moved in to the mainstream of cultural production, and collaboration is now largely taken for granted as one of the numerous ways that artists can choose to operate. Nevertheless, artistic collaboration between visual artists from different cultures remains rare.

Our project will bring together during the first two weeks of July 30 multi-disciplinary visual artists from the UK and the Arab world for a collaborative art project. We believe that the joint artistic activity through self-conscious engagement of the participants in the collaborative dynamic will generates artistic innovation.
